Successful Komnamites launching in Maryland.

The Komnamites launch was culminated with the Science Laboratory project in Abuh-Kom. The purpose of the launching at the June 2017 Kom Convention was to raise funds to realize this project. The Kom Young Adults (Komnamites) chose as their project to provide science laboratory equipment to Government High School, Abuh. This school was carefully selected amongst GHS Acha, GHS Anjin and GHS Meli after Komnamites performed a needs-based assessment. The non-selected school needs were placed in a project bank for future review. This project was completed and handed over in December 2017.

First Komnamites Career Fair/End of Year Party (EOYP)

Komnamites also had an end of year party (EOYP) in December 2017. This EOYP was highlighted by a career and education forum in which 85 registered Komnamites participated. This forum opened the floor for discussions on how to keep the passion of our culture burning in the next generation, adoption of our by-laws and networking opportunities for different career paths.
